MEMS は今や新しい産業として広く認知され、アプリケーションも車載から民生・モバイル製品へと広がりました。 　その結果、MEMSはより便利な機能をもたらす技術として、身近なものとなって来ています。反面、事業としてはセンサーに代表されるように価格競争が激しくなり、市場規模は堅調に成長しているものの、その勢いはやや鈍化してきております。 このような局面を今後どのように打開していくのかをデバイス、装置の両面から各企業が紹介していきます。 そこで、弊社はドライフィルムレジストの貼り付け技術を駆使し、１台で次の多様な貼り付けを可能とする装置を開発しました。 (1)テンティング貼り(2)埋め込み貼り(3)厚膜貼り(4)コンフォーマル等です。 以上の最新技術について紹介します。 ご来場の際は、是非SEMIテクノロジーシンポジウムにお越しください。

MEMS is widely recognized as a new industry, and its applications have been expanded from automobiles to consumer electronics and mobile devices. As a result, MEMS has become a common technology to provide innovative functionality. In the business aspect, however, price competition gets increasingly fierce, as typically seen in sensor business, and thereby MEMS growth momentum slightly slows down although the market size increases steadily. In SEMI Technology Symposium, MEMS companies will present how to achieve a breakthrough from the viewpoints of both device and tool. In our session, we will present a newly developed MEMS tool, which we succeeded in applying the dry film resist lamination technologies and features various laminating methods such as, (1) “Tenting Lamination” for laminating tape like a tent for permanent attachment, (2) “Embedding Lamination” for laminating film on rough patterned surface with the outer laminated surface being plane, (3) “Ultra-thick Resist Lamination” for laminating multiple-layer DFR, and (4) “Conformal Lamination” for laminating film along with the rough surface of silicon wafers. We will present those latest technologies in the symposium and look forward to see you there.
